Who we are
Vouchworth is a trading name of [FULL LEGAL NAME], a sole trader registered in Ireland, of [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: alan@tryvouchworth.com.
What we collect and why
- Free check requests. Your name, email, business name, trade, country, town and website. We use them to run your check and email you the results. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract.
- Business outreach. We may email businesses using contact details they publish for business purposes, with an offer relevant to their trade. Legal basis: legitimate interests. Every email lets you opt out, and we stop as soon as you do.
- Clients. Contact and billing details needed to provide our services and invoice you. Legal basis: contract, and our legal obligations for accounting records.
- Our clients' customers. When a client asks us to send review requests, we receive the customer's name, email or phone number and job type. We act as a data processor for the client, use the data only to send that client's review request, and delete it when the request sequence ends (no later than 30 days).
Information about businesses
Our checks and reports use publicly available business information, such as business names, ratings, review counts and listings, and answers from AI assistants. This is information about businesses, not private individuals.
Who we share data with
We use these service providers to run Vouchworth. Each only handles data needed for its service:
- Cloudflare (website hosting)
- FormSubmit (delivers website form submissions to our inbox)
- Google Workspace (email)
- Stripe (payments)
- Our cold-email platform (sending and tracking outreach emails)
- AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, Perplexity and Anthropic (running checks and drafting content; we send business information, not your customers' details)
Some of these providers process data outside the EEA. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
- Free check requests that don't become clients: 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the duration of the service, then as long as Irish tax law requires (currently 6 years for accounting records).
- Clients' customer details: deleted when the review request sequence ends, within 30 days.
- Outreach opt-outs: kept indefinitely so we never contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it, including for outreach. Email alan@tryvouchworth.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or your local data protection authority.
Cookies
